Gibbs builders were able to revive life, and original color, back into this early 1900’s Sears and Roebuck kit home that was called “The Vallonia” and encapsulated its esthetic beauty and authentic charm of yesteryears.
The exterior and the interior demonstrate the skilled workmanship and attention for fine detail that has earned the Gibb’s team influential status among those “around-and-about.”
Calvin researched and rejuvenated the original paint colors and: the exterior was painted Colonial Yellow; the trim was painted white; the window sashes were painted black just as the house looked when it was first put together in 1929.
The house has original light fixtures inside, flooring and tongue and grooved walls and ceilings.
